Sister Krista Marie grew up in Ohio and studied history and theology at the Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. She earned her Masters in Teaching at Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee. Sister entered the St. Cecilia Congregation in 2012 and made her Final Vows in 2019. Before entering the congregation, Sister Krista Marie taught middle school in Texas and since has taught 5th through 12 grade in various schools. Sister loves being a Dominican Sister and teaching! She also loves going to new places and meeting new people, hiking, reading, and is currently learning how to play the guitar. She loves being at Saint Rose Academy!
