Sister Mary Agatha grew up in a military family and lived in many places around the country. She attended the University of Virginia, where she received a degree in Middle Eastern Studies. During her time at UVA she was received into the Catholic Church. After working for several years, she entered the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. She pronounced her final vows in 2017. She came to Saint Rose in 2019, where she has the privilege of teaching the 5K students.
