Lura Knutson has a B.S. in Music Education from the University of Montevallo and will be graduating in December with a Masters in Catholic School Administration and Leadership from Marymount University. In addition to teaching general Music, Mrs. Knutson is the Choir Director and the Athletic Director.  She is a trained singer and offers private voice lessons. Mrs. Knutson loves the family atmosphere and excellent education that Saint Rose Academy provides. She has one daughter and three sons.  She has seen firsthand through her children and her own Catholic education how faith formation and the support of the Dominican sisters form and lead our children and staff to Christ.
