Laura Williamson has been a member of the Saint Rose family for five years as our 3K teacher. Mrs. Williamson grew up in Oxford, MS, and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She received her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. She has taught 3K in a church-based program in Hoover, AL, taught a Pre-K special needs class in Rome, Georgia, and has also taught kindergarten in Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama. Mrs. Williamson believes children learn best when they are given an active role in their learning and growing process, and feels honored to have the joy of helping the youngest children at Saint Rose Academy grow and learn! Mrs. Williamson lives in Hoover with her husband John, who is a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial. They have three children, Anne-Hale, Harrison, and Patrick.
