Classes are in session from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
† Is after-school care available?
Yes, after-school care is available for all grades and lasts until 5:30 p.m.
† Is lunch provided?
Lunch is provided by Christian Catering and is available for purchase for grades 3K-8 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Parents will receive a text message and email from the school whenever there is an unscheduled school closing.

Yes, the sacrifice of the Mass is offered most Friday mornings at 9:40 a.m. Family members and friends are always welcomed and encouraged to attend.

† May I visit the school?
Yes, we welcome prospective parents and students to visit Saint Rose Academy. Tours may be scheduled at any time by calling the Director of Admissions, Vivian Hults, at (205) 933-0549. Prospective students applying for admission in grades 1-8 are also invited to spend a day attending classes at Saint Rose Academy.
† What are the age requirements for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten?
Students entering 3K must be 3 years old on or before June 30th, while students entering 4K and 5K must be 4 and 5 years old, respectively, on or before September 1st.
† What are the costs of tuition?
Tuition can be found on the second page of our application form. Please contact our Business Office for details on tuition costs for enrolling four or more children in a family.
† Does Saint Rose Academy offer tuition assistance?
Yes. Saint Rose Academy is committed to making private education as affordable as possible. Parents in need of tuition assistance are asked to complete a SMART Tuition Aid form as part of the application process, which enables us to objectively assess the financial need of each applicant.
† What tuition payment options are available?
All tuition, after-school care, sports, and activities fees will be billed by and paid through Saint Rose Academy by check or Direct Bank Account Deduction. The first payment for tuition is due in July, before the beginning of the school year. We currently offer the following payment plans for tuition:

† How much is the application fee?
The application fee is $35. Payment is part of the application process and must be submitted in order to complete the application. This is a non-refundable fee.
† What do I do when my child is sick and will miss school?
Please call the main office and leave a message to let the school know your child will not be attending school that day, and to make any necessary arrangements for homework and assignments. An absence note must be handed given to the homeroom teacher upon the student’s return to school.
