Call for 2016 Robotics Team Members and Coaches

St. Rose Academy announces the return of B.E.S.T. Robotics for grades 6-8th.

The team is open to all children and will offer something for each participant.  Sign up below!

What is B.E.S.T? It stands for Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology. It is a competition in which middle and high school teams from our area are given 6 weeks to build a robot from a mixture of spare parts and materials provided at no cost to each team by Blazer BEST. The primary goal of the BEST competition is to provide a forum where students must incorporate science and math principles with the engineering process to create a “product” (robot) that performs the required task. Each team’s robot must be designed, built and operated using the ideas and skills that the team members possess.

Coaches are needed for the following disciplines:  mechanical design and build, programming design and build, technical writing, marketing.  Please consider offering your time to these disciplines if you are able.  Thank you!
